Pumper-Tanker
In 2011 Baden's leaders saw the need to replace our 1993 Pierce Engine so they formed a apparatus committee
to start researching the project. Due to the diminishing volunteer members, changes in the fire service,
apparatus technology and with a lot of consideration it was found that Baden's next apparatus purchase needed
to be a multipurpose vehicle. After over a year of planning and bid processes Baden selected Redstorm
Fire & Rescue Apparatus to build us a new Pumper-Tanker. On May the 15th 2013 we took
deliver of a $563,000 Pumper-Tanker that is essentially two vehicles in one. Everyday it amazes the
department and exceeds the committees expectation of its capabilities.
